Drone Inspection of Chimneys

Drones are being used more and more these days for various applications and for us it is proving to be invaluable.

The drone we use falls into the under 250g category which means we can fly in residential/commercial and recreational areas, just not over crowds or restricted zones.

Book now

Our drone is used for those hard-to-reach areas, giving both video and pictures without the need to access the roof or the time and expense of erecting a scaffold.

It’s amazing that being able to access and see often hard to reach areas without the need for ladders or even expensive scaffold, giving both 4k video footage and high quality pictures that then can be passed onto the customer in minutes. These pictures can also give good information not just for ourselves, but for whoever is going to be doing the remedial work, making it easier with working out the costs involved.

Perfect for any problems

When there is a problem with your chimney or roof, it is often necessary to take a closer look at the outside to get a better idea on whether any maintenance or remedial work is needed. We are often called out to jobs where there could be a problem with a blocked flue, water ingress, bird activity, loose brickwork and a variety of other issues, not just related to chimney's but this could be any part of the roof.

Prevention & Benefits

Cameras can also highlight issues before during or after the sweeping process, which can be an invaluable aid to diagnosing any issues or getting an early look at a potential future problem. Having the ability to fly the drone to give a detailed insight to exactly what the problem is from ground level, is not just the quickest but the most cost effective way without having to get onto the roof.
